The use of Coconut Oil on the HCG Diet Drops program is sort of a gray area and the more research we do, the more fuzzy the answer is. I have worked with many of my clients to review their results, see how the diet and weight loss results are affected with the use of Coconut Oil both on the skin as a moisturizer and also used in cooking.
The results are a little more on the annoying side than the cut and dry. Seems that both ends of the spectrum are present in this research as I have many clients report no decrease in weight loss results, a consistent loss of 0.8 lbs per day to 1.3 lbs per day and others that report stalling one to two days following the use of coconut oil.
With these results and the continued trials with more and more clients, I say use it carefully if you choose. You really need to be conscious of your body, watch the scale, keep up on your water intake (as close to a gallon or more per day) and if you see even the slightest change in your results, make sure you note it. Do not continue using coconut oil if you stall or do not lose weight for two consecutive days or more.
